“The Comp is a quick and light option for high cadence rowing. This oar is characterized by its extremely light feel in the hand. It has a very quick finish, encouraging higher stroke rates. The blade exhibits good stability on the drive, while having a reduced feeling of load. The Comp is best for those who are experienced coastal rowers and enjoy rowing at high cadences with very good technique. This oar is best for calm to medium conditions, and is not recommended for beginners due to its demand for precise rowing.”
